It’s no secret…Nojoqui Falls is one of my favorite places on Earth. Having grown up in Santa Ynez, just north of Santa Barbara, I spent many summers hiking up to the waterfall at Nojoqui. For those unfamiliar with the area, it’s pronounced like Naw-ho-wee. The area is rich in Native American history and natural beauty.
These wonderful ladies were an absolute dream! Not only are they gorgeous, but they were more than willing to go along with all my crazy ideas and hike to the falls at the top of the trail. I’m so glad they chose this location for their engagement session!
Along the Nojoqui Trail
As we walked the trail up to the falls for this engagement session, we stopped at a low spot in the stream and found this little spot for a moment of fun.
Engagement Photos At the Nojoqui Waterfall
The view at the top was every bit worth the short hike! This waterfall is such a hidden gem just north of Santa Barbara. I love coming here!
Back Down The Nojoqui Trail
On our way back down the trail, we stopped at one of the many wood bridges for some quick photos before we left.
This engagement session was one of my favorites. These ladies were a joy to work with and they hit my soft spot by having their wedding and engagement photos done in the Santa Ynez Valley. I love the energy these two have together and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.
