Cambria Pines Lodge Wedding Weekend Getaway
Cambria Pines Lodge is known for the beautiful gardens it maintains. The Lodge hosts many events throughout the year with the Christmas light show taking center stage and bringing people from all around to see the beautiful light displays. It’s easy to make a day trip to visit the lodge and view each of the unique gardens. You never know what you may find behind a garden gate or the just around the corner. Leashed dogs are welcome in the gardens, so you don’t even need to leave Fido at home!
Venue Features
This venue is great for a quick stay before or after your wedding. The lodge offers everything you would expect while staying in a hotel with some added benefits of the 25 acre grounds. For your stay, they offer numerous gardens to explore, a Monterey Pine forest, a day spa, heated outdoor pool and on site dining and bar facilities.
A large banquet room is great for events during inclement weather and can easily be divided for smaller parties. The outdoor gardens offer many choices for you wedding and can accommodate different guest counts.
If you are out for an adventure during your stay, they’ve got you covered. A short drive down the road will get you to a beautiful day at the beach. Soak up some sun or play in the sand before heading back to the comfort of your room. If you are wanting a bit more activity, walking trails are nearby and many offer a wide view of the surrounding hillsides and beach below. For a more relaxed visit, wineries and tasting rooms are a short walk away downtown or a quick drive down the beautiful Highway 1. Hearst Castle offers guided tours year round and is a short drive from the lodge.

With all the gardens available for weddings as well as areas for both indoor receptions and outdoor receptions, I’m always thrilled to photograph at Cambria Pines Lodge. What the venue lacks in shade, it makes up for in amazing backdrops. There are very few places where you can get married under one of the many romantic garden gazebos, have formal wedding photos done in a fully landscaped garden, enjoy your reception with your guests on the grass and head to the beach for sunset photos!
I love getting photos of everything from the wonderful food to the dance floor and all the amazing moments in between. Formal wedding portraits, however, are my absolute favorite. Capturing an otherwise forgotten moment between the bride and groom is what makes being a wedding photographer one of the best things ever!
