Grace Maralyn Estate Vow Renewal

20 Year Celebration

I was thrilled when Tina asked if I was available for a vow renewal almost a year in the future. I have photographed her and her family for a few years and I knew her vow renewal would be absolutely amazing. Both Tina and her husband, Max, are such amazing and kind people! The more I learn about them, the more I love them. They are a great example to us all when it comes to making a marriage last.

After twenty years, they have plenty of experiences to share and with a daughter in college and a son in preschool, they have had so much joy in their marriage. The ups and downs of marriage have only made them stronger together.

While I strive to be one of the best wedding photographers, weddings like these make my job easier. The attention to detail was amazing and nothing was left to chance. Every detail was carefully planned and executed. The flowers were just right, the table setting were precise and the food was displayed gorgeously.

Wedding Plans

All this and the whole thing almost didn’t happen at all! Half way through the planning process, Covid-19 hit and it hit hard. Since everything was shut down, venues had to reschedule and cancel events. Max and Tina felt the full force of the changes in the wedding industry. They venue they had originally planned to hold the wedding at was forced to make some changes. The Groves on 41 in Creston, California was forced to impose guest count restrictions, noise reduction plans and a handful of other unforeseen changes to the event.

They didn’t give up on their dream. Max and Tina were determined to make it work. They had a vision of their twenty year vow renewal and they were not about to let it be anything less than they what they had dreamed of. The Grace Maralyn Estate was able to accommodate many of the things that they wanted. Due to being in a different town, having different neighbors and a handful of other factors that made it the perfect alternate location.

To say that I was ecstatic to be able to photograph at not one, but TWO such amazing venues is an understatement. I had been dying to photograph an event at both locations for quite some time and this really was the chance of a lifetime. All these changes lined up perfectly to help me get some of the best wedding photos. I’m so happy with how they all turned out.

I hope you enjoy them as well!

Tina got ready at The Groves on 41. Her daughter was by her side the entire time, helping with all the little details.

Wedding Ceremony

The ceremony was held at The Grace Maralyn Estate. The couple’s children served as the bridal party and they both did an amazing job.

Formal Photos

After the ceremony, we took some family photos. Then we headed up the hill behind the estate for some sunset photos with an amazing view.

Reception

The reception was outside on the expansive lawn of the estate. Flora and Fauna Fine Food provided the amazing meal and all appetizers. Flora and Fauna paid such close attention to the details and it really shows. They did an incredible job.
