Chris & Natalie
Chris and Natalie were one of the most down-to-Earth, amazing couples I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fit for my biggest wedding of the year. Higuera Ranch opened their doors and allowed Chris and Natalie to have their dream wedding at a dreamy location.
I first photographed them at the rehearsal dinner where they roasted a pig and enjoyed a beautiful spring evening with family and friends. I couldn’t help but notice how relaxed they were and how kindly they treated those around them. They went out of their way to make sure everyone (including me) was comfortable and happy.
Natalie had her mom and bridesmaids by her side both for the wedding day and the rehearsal. They enjoyed each other’s company tremendously. They all prayed for each other throughout the day and really supported each other in a way that I don’t see often.
The ceremony was beautiful. The bride’s brother walked her down the aisle and their mom cried tears of joy when she saw her children together. Chris and Natalie shared their vows under the flowered arch on the grassy lawn. Their first kiss had everyone applauding and the joy on their faces says it all.
We went up the hill for a little adventure to find the perfect spot for formal photos. Natalie had seen a lone oak tree that she fell in love with, so we hunted it down and make that our spot for pictures.
